Program details
Our upper limb retraining program is for those who have experienced a stroke of other neurological condition, who want to regain function and use of their hand and upper limb once more.
The program will involve a tailored exercise program to help individuals achieve their goals, such as holding a coffee again, using a knife and fork, or just being able to peg clothes on the line.
The class will run for 8 weeks, and will also involve some education about the role neuroplasticity plays in clients with neurological conditions.

Wednesdays: 11:00AM
Program commences from the 30th April 2025
Cost:
$35 per class/visit
Target age:
50 Plus
Participants who would not be suitable for the program:
Those with severe cognitive impairments, severe contractures or those unable to maintain sitting balance.
Special requirements or conditions:
An initial assessment will be completed, to ensure appropriateness for clients, set goals and ensure exercises are tailored appropriately for the individual. Those requiring assistance of family or support workers are encouraged to bring them along.
