Program details

The UTS Exercise Physiology Teaching clinic provides free in-person clinical exercise physiology programs designed for individuals with underlying health concerns.

  • The service is provided by postgraduate Master students who are undertaking a Master of Clinical Exercise Physiology (MCEP) program at UTS.
  • All students are under the supervision and guidance of experienced and industry Accredited Exercise Physiologists (AEP).
  • Clinic Category 1 (Musculoskeletal): This clinic focuses primarily on people managing muscle, bone, or joint conditions, including things like arthritis, osteoporosis, chronic pain, lower back pain etc. This program is run by our junior Master students.
  • Clinic Category 2 (Complex Cases): This clinic is designed for people managing multiple diseases at the same time. Examples include musculoskeletal issues like above AND heart disease, or mental health conditions AND cancer or high blood pressure. This program is run by our senior Master students.
  • Programs in both clinic categories are equally personalised to individual health status, and adjustments are made to help people reach their specific health goals.
