Program details

This is a physio led group exercise class, specifically focusing on falls prevention for community dwelling and independently mobile people.

The class focuses on 3 primary components of falls prevention, which includes:

  1. Leg strengthening
  2. Posture correction
  3. Balance training  
There is a large education component to these groups, with each week focusing on different topics and themes. It can be a lot of fun and an enjoyable social experience.

Participants who would not be suitable for the program:

This program is not suitable for those who are not able to mobilise independently or are unable to follow instructions.

Special requirements or conditions:

Wear clothing you are comfortable to exercise in. Please bring your own drink bottle.
