Program details

Aqua Fitness is a group aerobic activity that uses water for resistance and is suitable for all ages and fitness levels. 
 
Aqua Fitness is a part of the Physically Active Communities (PAC) programs offered by the Western NSW Health Promotion Team. The programs promote "fun, fitness and friendship" in local communities. 
 
The program is run by trained local health staff, volunteers and local organisations. 

Opening hours:

Aqua Fitness season runs from November to April with classes on Mon, Tues, Wed, Thurs & Fri from 7.30am to 8.30am.

No classes held on Public Holidays.

Cost:

Participants are required to pay their pool entry fee

Target age:

50 Plus

Special requirements or conditions:

Participants are asked to bring a water bottle, towel, wear sunscreen and wear sun-safe swimwear (i.e., hat, rash shirt, sunglasses).

Minimum experience:

Beginner

Leader qualifications:

Registered LHD Physical Activity Volunteer
