Program details

Forever Active is a program suited to our more mature community members.

A fully supervised class focused on improving cardiovascular endurance, strength, balance and flexibility, set in a fun, social group environment. 

Our Forever Active Program is designed to enhance and advance the skills of our members through a diverse range of movements. Participants engage in weight-bearing exercises utilising weight machines, cable machines, and free weights.

People of your own age group surround you and you are encouraged to work at your own pace.

If you are over 60 and looking for a great group of buddies, this is your class.

Opening hours:

Tuesday and Thursdays 10.45am and 1.30pm

Classes operate 12 months of the year with the exception of public holidays and a short Christmas break. 

Cost:

1. Local Flexi Saver (local residents only) - $21.00 direct debit per week
2. Forever Active 10 visit card - $100.00 upfront cost
3. Forever Active casual visit (this is active for the entire day if they wish to attend both classes) - $12.00 upfront cost

Target age:

60 Plus

Participants who would not be suitable for the program:

Participants who are post-surgery and unable to wear closed in footwear.

Special requirements or conditions:

Participants should bring their own towel and water bottle and closed in shoes.

Beginner

Leader qualifications:

Fitness Leader - Registered Cert IV
