Program details
Be Stronger For Longer is an ActiveStrongerBetter program that is run as a circuit style class. Every ActiveStrongerBetter session includes a warm up, an aerobic conditioning segment, some resistance work to build muscle capacity, interactive activity to build co-ordination and social engagement.
All sessions include a challenge to balance and stability through a range of strategies. Each session concludes with a gentle cool down and static flexibility phase.
Opening hours:
Tuesday 8:15-9am and 9:15-10am Level 2/3 and 5-5:45pm* Level 1/2 (*Starting July 28th)
Wednesday 8:15-9am Level 2/3
Friday 9:15-10am Level 2/3
Cost:
$15 casual visit or $125 for a 10 visit pass
Target age:
50 Plus
Participants who would not be suitable for the program:
If you require a support worker in every day activities, then the support worker should attend and exercise with you.
Minimum experience:
Beginner
Leader qualifications:
Fitness Leader - Registered Cert IV
