This is a specific Pilates class for Seniors.
Exercises have been tailored & modified (regressed) to suit seniors.
Pilates is one of the safest and most effective methods to improve functional strength, balance and core strength.
The exercises can both prevent and rehabilitate most common injuries such as back pain, shoulder pain, hip pain and knee pain.
These classes are "mat based" with the addition of equipment such as the stability ball (Fitball), light weights, resistance bands, small ball, ring/circle & the foam roller (all equipment provided).

- Tuesday 11.45-12.30pm
- Friday 11.45-12.30pm
Cost:
Cost per visit: $17 plus GST (pay casually or purchase 10 lesson card with no expiry)
Target age:
65 Plus
Participants who would not be suitable for the program:
Participants need to be able to get down and up from floor to perform the exercises.
Special requirements or conditions:
Please bring your own mat if possible otherwise mats are available to borrow.
Minimum experience:
Beginner
Leader qualifications:
Accredited Yoga Instructor
Fitness Leader - Registered Cert IV
Tai Chi Instructor (Accredited)
Healthcare clearance requirement:
