Program details

Our 50 minute programs are based on individual needs. However, most include dynamic balance exercises such as the star excursion, tandem and other novel gait patterns such as toe and heel walking, jumps or hops, depending on the person.

We understand that strength is a crucial factor in balance and falls risk. Our programs, designed to enhance your safety in everyday tasks, may include strengthening exercises like 'sit to stand', squats, calf raises, and a variety of other strength-based exercises, depending on your current ability.

We help people with pre-habilitation before and rehabilitation after surgeries, including knee or hip replacements. We also help people with osteoporosis and those wanting general strengthening and balance improvement. We also work with people who have a range of chronic health conditions where evidence shows that exercise can be beneficial. This includes various cancers, cardiovascular conditions, COPD and diabetes.

Opening hours:

We are open from 8am to 6pm weekdays. Sessions are by appointment.

Cost:

Cost per visit: $110 (GST inclusive) - this can be shared between two people.

50 Plus

Please talk to us, if you can walk with or without an aid we would love to work with you.

Special requirements or conditions:

Clothes you can easily move in.
