Program details

This 1 hour Aqua class is held in a 25m pool, which is covered and heated but is not an indoor pool.

It focuses on activation, strength, cardiovascular fitness, core strength,  balance, co-ordination and social engagement. It includes some choreography,  circuit, intervals, and steady state training. We also incorporate the use of noodles, aqua dumbbells , bands and boards. 

The class entry also includes a tea/ coffee to encourage social engagement. 

Opening hours:

Mondays and Thursdays at 8.30am.

Cost per visit: $17

Target age:

50 Plus

Participants who would not be suitable for the program:

Those with open wounds or those who have had recent surgery.

Special requirements or conditions:

Byo towel, water bottle, can wear aqua shoes if need.

Minimum experience:

Beginner

Leader qualifications:

Fitness Leader - Registered Cert IV
