Program details

These Aqua Fitness sessions are conducted in a safe, social and supportive environment, in my privately owned, indoor, heated pool, with the aim to build confidence in the way we move in day to day living, and keep us moving longer to keep enjoying all aspects of life.

The classes focusing on improving:

• Cardiovascular health
• Range of movement
• Strength & balance
• Falls prevention
• Social interactions.

Incorporating low impact aqua exercises, participants control the intensity of their workout by the resistance of the water.

Participants who would not be suitable for the program:

Participants need to be able to move independently and cleared by a GP if they are a high risk - eg. heart condition, stroke, chest pain, dizziness during exercise, medical condition or diagnosed muscle/joint/bone problem.
Entry and exit of pool is via stairs.

Special requirements or conditions:

Participants are asked to bring a water bottle.
