If the luxury of taking a seat, relaxing and following through physical movements sounds like your form of exercise, then you should try out Chair Yoga.
Chair Yoga takes traditional yoga poses and adapts them for the chair. Our students are taken through exercises called sun salutations and downward dogs all from a seated position. There is no getting on the floor. Our students are people who know that ‘if they don’t use it, they’ll lose it’.
And it works.
Our students report increased energy, better balance and improved flexibility. We adapt classes to individual needs depending on your current state of health. Students wear comfortable clothing and shoes are optional!
If you are in the Kur-ing-gai area, you're welcome to attend an in-person class at my home studio at St Ives on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 11am or on Mondays at 11am at the St Ives Community Hall.
Alternatively, you're always welcome to join the Tuesday and Thursday classes from your home via Zoom.

11am Thursdays: St Ives Home Studio

Cost per visit: $20 per week drop in or buy 10 weeks for $135.
Target age:
50 Plus, 55 Plus, 60 Plus, 65 Plus
Special requirements or conditions:
Comfortable loose clothing, non slip socks or bare feet, water bottle

Beginner
Leader qualifications:
Fitness Leader - Registered Cert III
