Program details

The ONERO osteoporosis exercise program is an evidence-based intensity specific (Onero in Latin means “load”) exercise program specifically designed to prevent osteoporotic fractures by stimulating bone development and decreasing the risk of falls in people who have osteoporosis and osteopenia.

The ONERO program is based on the research from the LIFTMOR study, which produced amazing results with 78% of patients improving the bone mineral density of their femoral neck (hip) and 82% of patients improving the bone mineral density of their lumbar spine. These improvements are comparable with medications. But best of all, because we are stimulating muscle, bone and balance the likelihood of a fall is also significantly decreased in participants.

ONERO classes are designed to be completed long term (just like medication) and regularly, twice a week is recommended for a significant physiological adaptation and optimal results.

Our classes run for 30 minutes and are capped at 4 people to ensure a high level of supervision and support. They are simple, time effective and technique specific.
