Program details

Dance4wellbeing is a 1 hour movement class designed for all adults wishing to maintain and improve mobility, health & wellbeing.

For keeping your mind & body active across the lifespan, regardless of mobility, skill or age.

Seated, standing and moving across the floor options!

All are welcome, no dance experience required, meet others, enjoy the music & community connection.

Come along and enjoy gentle EXERCISE in DISGUISE!

Tailored for ALL adults including those with Parkinson's, stroke and mobility restrictions

Carers, partners and friends welcome.

The session is followed by refreshments for 30 mins with a cuppa and chat for social connection.

* NOTE - facilitator is highly experienced in dance- based activity for older adults and runs an accredited training. 

Opening hours:

Mondays 10-11am class then refreshments for 30 mins

Operates during NSW school term dates

$12 casual class/ discounts for 5 & 10 sessions

Cost:

$12 - casual class
$55 - 5 class pass
$110 - 10 class pass

Target age:

50 Plus

Participants who would not be suitable for the program:

- We ask that all partcipants check with their health/ medical professional first that gentle exercise is appropriate for them to participate in before they attend, particularly after surgery.
- We encourage carers to attend and participate with anyone who has higher needs or cognitive impairment.
- Walking aids welcome.
- The facilitator is highly experienced in Dance for Parkinson's/ Stroke and older adult mobility programs.

Special requirements or conditions:

Comfortable clothes and a water bottle.
Soft shoes or non-slip socks (available on site to purchase if needed).
