Program details

Bush walking NSW hosts one bike riding activity per month, led by an experienced leader.

Bike riding helps to maintain balance, reduce muscle deterioration and helps to prevent a decline in fitness due to the ageing process.

We monitor all participants on the activities for safety and well-being and all our leaders are well-versed in managing groups with different capabilities and cycling speeds.

Social interaction is also a benefit of our activities.

Cost:

Cost per visit: Temporary membership for the day is $5. Annual membership is $25.

Target age:

50 Plus

Participants who would not be suitable for the program:

Participants who need walking aids would not be able to take part in our bike rides.

Special requirements or conditions:

Bike riders are required to wear a helmet. Participants must also bring sufficient water and food for the day's activity.
