Program details

Bushwalking NSW have 2 bushwalking activities per month, one is a day walk, the other during is a camping weekend once a month. The activities are led by an experienced leader.

Bushwalking helps maintain balance, reduce muscle deterioration and help prevent a decline in fitness due to the ageing process.

We monitor all participants on the activities for safety and well-being and all our leaders are well-versed in managing groups with different capabilities and walking speeds.

Cost:

Cost per visit: Temporary membership is $5 per visit and annual membership is $25. Temporary membership payments count towards annual membership.

Target age:

50 Plus

Participants who would not be suitable for the program:

Participants using walking aids would not be able to participate in most of our activities.

Special requirements or conditions:

We ask participants to wear suitable walking shoes, bring enough water and food for their requirements.
