Maintain your independence to remain living safely in your own home now and all the years to come.
These sessions are designed to improve balance, strength and well-being, as well as increase confidence and mobility. They are followed by a free cuppa and chat, so are a great way to enjoy an outing and to meet and make friends.
The service is evidence based and follows the Australian Best Practice Guidelines for Falls Prevention and Best Practice Recommendations of Exercise to Prevent Falls in Older Adults.
Inclusion Criteria:
- Community dwelling
- Self mobilising with or without a walking aid
- Medically stable - some participants may require a signed Doctor's referral
- Dementia / cognitive impaired participants must be accompanied by carer

Fridays, 10:30 - 11:30am

50 Plus, Over 50 years old Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders
Participants who would not be suitable for the program:
To participant in this program, participants must:
- Live in the community
- Be self-mobilising with or without a walking aid
