Program details
This Chair Yoga program is designed to increase confidence with balance, strengthen the body and mind for quality of life and meet new friends!
- Warm-up with fun activities
- Build upper and lower body strength
- Improve flexibility, range of motion, posture and coordination
- Gain confidence with balance exercises for Falls Prevention
- Cool-down with mindful stretching and relaxation.
- Gain more body awareness.

You will receive information on how to make your payment and a link will be provided to access the online program via ZOOM platform.
Fitness 2 Wellbeing collaborating with Merrylands Bowling Club cost effective programs, creating opportunities, motivating and keeping the Community Healthy and Strong.
Opening hours:
Thursday, 9 - 10 am (60 minutes)
All year round (48-50 weeks), except public holidays.
Fitness 2 Wellbeing is partnering with Guildford & Merrylands Bowling Clubs to expand their knowledge and expertise in Falls Prevention. These programs will now be accessible at affordable rates to our Active Over 55s Community in Western and South Western Sydney.
Cost:
Casual rate: $5 / FREE for Club Members (1-year Membership fee approx. $5 - $10)
Target age:
50 Plus
Participants who would not be suitable for the program:
Program is not suitable for people with dementia/ cognitive impairment.
Special requirements or conditions:
Bring your own towel, water bottle, hand sanitiser / hand wipes / *masks (*if desired)
Minimum experience:
Beginner
Leader qualifications:
Accredited Yoga Instructor
Fitness Leader - Registered Cert IV
