Program details

Tai Chi is an ancient art based on a harmonising system of development for the body, mind, and spirit. The continued practice of Tai Chi will lead you to a sense of peace and well-being and also a feeling of being at one with their environment.

If done regularly, it improves muscle tone, flexibility, balance, and coordination. Many older people find that it boosts their energy, stamina, and agility, sharpens their reflexes, and gives an overall sense of well-being.

What is Tai Chi?

  • Tai Chi helps the mind body and spirit to heal and gain energy. This slows down the natural ageing process and regulates metabolism.
  • Tai Chi is one of the best alternative medicine based on nature and body science. It's a good sport for keeping fit and making people healthy.
  • Tai Chi aids in good posture, coordination, meditation and relaxation.
  • Tai Chi helps to reduce pain such as back, neck and shoulder pain.
  • Tai Chi helps to reduce stress.

Tai Chi is a series of individual movements or forms, linked together to flow smoothly from one to another. When performed with continuity, these movements involve body and trunk rotation, flexion and extension of the hips and knees, weight shifting, postural control and alignment, with and without arm coordination.

QiGong can help when you have symptoms of headache, poor sleeping, stiff neck or shoulders, backaches. Tai Chi increases flexibility and the spring of ligaments. They are a good gentle stretch and an acupuncture treatment combined, which improves the circulation of fluids and energy in the body to lessen the impact of injuries and allow more rapid healing.
