Program details
Over 50's Gentle Exercise includes a warm up using large muscle groups followed by aerobic conditioning for heart health and body weight strength exercises.
Specific strength movements within the class uses bands or weights for resistance.
Balance is incorporated into all sections of the session with specific balancing exercises after cardio and strength work. Balance includes heel toe walking, standing on one leg with variety of movement options, head movement for vestibular activation and timing of balance to challenge participants.
Stretch for flexibility and pelvic floor exercises.

Those with cognitive impairment
Special requirements or conditions:
Wear non-slip shoes eg joggers, bring a water bottle, wear loose clothing suitable for movement

Fitness Leader - Registered Cert III
Fitness Leader - Registered Cert IV
