Program details

Lifelong Strength and Wellness is a free early intervention for healthy ageing program.

It aims to promote healthy ageing and independence by preventing falls and frailty.

Involvement in the program will include appointments with both an exercise physiologist and a dietitian, a home exercise program and a tailored nutrition plan, as well as weekly phone check-ins and referral to other services as needed. 

Age Criteria: Over 65yrs of ages or over 45yrs of age for Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander People.

65 Plus

Participants who would not be suitable for the program:

- Patients who have had MORE than 3 falls in the last 12 months
- Diagnosis of progression, degenerative neurological conditions (Dementia, Alzheimers, MS, Parkinsons, Motor Neuron Disease)
- Have any medical condition, illness or injury that means they cannot participate in exercise.

Special requirements or conditions:

Comfortable clothing and footwear.
