Program details

Specialised Group Fitness for Women over 60 years. 

This class takes place in an outdoor setting utilising a variety of exercises and equipment to support senior women live and move well.

Women post menopause are at a higher risk of osteoporosis, soft tissue injuries, falls, heart disease and incontinence.

Our program also has a strong focus on increasing strength and balance, and restoring core function, therefore we incorporate weights, cardio and functional movement patterns to achieve the desired outcomes.

Sessions are delivered in a circuit style training format which allows participants the flexibility to work at their own pace.

We cap all classes at 10 to ensure clients receive a hands on experience while still enjoying the social aspects of a group session. 

All participants would be pre-screened prior to the commencement of the program to determine their suitability for a group environment.

A doctors clearance may be required and 1-on-1 programs are available for those who are not suited to group settings.

Monday & Wednesday 10.45am .

Cost:

Cost per term: $160 for 10 sessions

Target age:

60 Plus

Special requirements or conditions:

Please provide own water bottle, towel and mat for general hygiene.

Beginner

Leader qualifications:

Fitness Leader - Registered Cert IV

Special directions:

Outdoor sessions take place in the local park (Kadina Park). Undercover areas are available in wet weather conditions.
